What You'll Actually Do

Here's what a typical week looks like:

  • Write a LinkedIn post about an AI automation case study for a fintech client - using Claude to draft, then editing for brand voice and adding your insights

  • Set up a Google Ads campaign for a proptech client launching their AI-powered platform - use AI to generate ad copy variations and landing page content

  • Analyze last month's content performance across multiple client campaigns using ChatGPT/Claude to find patterns in what's working and what's not

  • Build an automated email nurture sequence for an ecommerce client's leads - use AI to personalize messaging at scale

  • Create a 2,000-word SEO blog post for Dapton.ai on how AI is transforming a specific industry - research with AI, outline with AI, write with AI, then add real expertise and data

  • Repurpose one blog post into 5 LinkedIn posts, 3 Twitter threads, 1 newsletter, and 1 short video script - all in under 2 hours using AI tools

  • Build a marketing dashboard for a client that auto-pulls data from Google Analytics, ad platforms, and CRM - using AI to generate insights instead of just showing numbers

  • Run A/B tests on landing pages with AI-generated copy variations for different industry verticals

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

AI-Powered Marketing (this is what makes this role different):

  • You use AI tools daily in your marketing workflow - not occasionally, DAILY

  • You can use ChatGPT/Claude/Jasper to produce content 5x faster than manual writing, while maintaining quality

  • You've used AI for at least 3 of these: content creation, ad copy, SEO research, email personalization, social media scheduling, data analysis, image generation, video scripting

  • You understand prompt engineering for marketing - you know how to get consistent brand-voice output from AI tools

  • You've built at least one marketing automation or workflow using AI tools (Zapier + AI, Make.com, or similar)

Content Marketing:

  • 3–5 years of professional marketing experience

  • Strong writing skills in English - AI helps you scale, but your base writing must be solid

  • SEO knowledge - keyword research, on-page optimization, content strategy

  • Blog writing, case studies, whitepapers, and social media content

  • LinkedIn marketing - organic growth strategies, thought leadership content

Performance Marketing:

  • Google Ads and/or Meta Ads - campaign setup, optimization, and reporting

  • Landing page creation and conversion optimization

  • Email marketing - drip campaigns, segmentation, A/B testing

  • Marketing analytics - Google Analytics, UTM tracking, attribution

General:

  • Experience marketing B2B / SaaS products or agency-side marketing across multiple clients

  • Can quickly learn new industries and create compelling content for audiences you didn't know yesterday

  • Self-starter - you don't wait for briefs, you identify opportunities and execute

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in SaaS or B2B tech marketing

  • Video content creation (short-form for LinkedIn/YouTube)

  • Marketing for developer tools or technical audiences

  • Figma/Canva for quick design work

  • HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar CRM/email tools

  • Basic HTML/CSS for landing page tweaks

  • Community building (LinkedIn groups, Discord, newsletters)

  • Podcast production or guest placement

  • AI is your co-worker, not a threat. You see AI tools as a 10x multiplier for your output. You're constantly trying new AI tools and figuring out how to work faster and smarter.

  • You're a full-stack marketer. You can write a blog post in the morning, set up a Google Ads campaign after lunch, and analyze conversion data in the evening. You don't say "that's not my job."

  • You think in funnels, not just content. Every piece of content has a purpose - awareness, consideration, or conversion. You know where each piece fits.

  • You can context-switch across industries. Monday you're writing for a fintech client, Tuesday it's an ecommerce brand, Wednesday it's Dapton.ai's own marketing. Different audiences, different tones, same high quality.

  • You care about revenue, not vanity metrics. Impressions are nice. Pipeline and revenue are what matter.

  • You ship fast. We're a small team. You'll publish content the same day you write it, not after 3 rounds of approvals.
